High CPU usage with Itunes 2.3.0.14 and HS 2.2.0.11

They've had this problem before. It was fixed with the 2.2.0.7 build but .11 brought it back. Check your task manager and you may see HS and Itunes both burst to 35% CPU every few cycles. It's enough to slow down your PCI modem if you open the line during a burst.

Itunes is such a memory hog anyway I've just decided to disable the plugin and use the Media Player.

Why is it a problem if CPU usage is 35% ? This is pretty low!

Perhaps, but when I unload the Itunes plugin, the CPU usage drops to 6%. And the 35% spikes definitely caused problems with the PCI modem.

This has been reported in the past and a complete removal of iTunes and reinstall has solved this issue.
