    Day after thanksgiving?

    Happy Thanksgiving all !!

This year.(2017). the Day After thanksgiving is the 4th Friday of the month.

Some years (ie 2019) , the day after thanksgiving is the 5th Friday of the month. (if November 1, is a Friday)

Is it possible to set up a reminder for the Day after thansgiving?

If not, i just need to change it to the 5th Friday of the month in 2019, then back to the 4th Friday in 2020..

Not a big deal.. but would be nice to set and forget.

*I use BLReminder Holiday flag to disable the alarm clock event on Holidays
    Regards,

    Bump...
I was Wondering if anyone has a thoughts on this question from a while back.

Goal: Tto programmatically (through events or BLReminder) pick "Black Friday" (The day after thanksgiving).

I set it manually this year to the 5th Friday in month... and before next year i will reset it back to fourth Friday of month...

But... I'm just thinking there has to be a standard way to pick "Black Friday"
    Regards,

    Andrew B.

      I did not test it,..........
These are the options available under the events natively. Options are in drop downs. Only becomes option as AND IF
date is : (First, ...Last) /(Day of week)/(Month)

      IF The time is: XXX
AND IF The date is: Last Friday of November
      Ihen: XXX

Wasn't there a year where Thanksgiving fell at an odd date which had black Friday end up on a different Friday than the last Friday of the month? If it can happen then using the akcalendar plugin you could use the US Holidays calendar with an event which is triggered by Thanksgiving. Otherwise Meapilot has your answer.

Can I set up extra holidays in it? If so, how?

Had time to look it up. In the US, Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday in November so key the event off that date using the same method Meapilot suggested and setting your time to 23:59

I use a delayed action off of my thanksgiving event.

I copied / modified this off another forum member sometime in the past.

The reason for the extra 4 minutes is there is a cleanup event that runs at midnight to clear the holiday. This will set Black Friday after that cleanup routine has ran.
