          I'm messing around with some scripts and not having any luck. Here's the script. Let me know what I'm missing.

          &hs.plugin("lrpSpeak").AllSpkrOn()
          &hs.plugin("lrpSpeak").SpkrOff("Deck")
          &hs.plugin("lrpSpeak").SpkrOff("Hot Tub")

          Here's the red log enteries in red.

            Scripts (saved as somename.vb) like this: (these are stored in your scripts directory.

            Public Sub Main(ByVal strDeviceRef As Object)
            hs.plugin("lrpSpeak").InputAB("B")
            hs.plugin("lrSpeak").SpkrOn("GameRm)
            hs.plugin("lrSpeak").SpkrOn("ExerciseRm")
            hs.plugin("lrpSpeak").AllSpkrOn()
            End Sub

            Also your problem earlier (COMMAND not Script):
            Use something like this:

            [Loc Room1,Room2,Room3] This is some text to speak.

            Notice commas but no spaces. Also notice scripts save as .vb do not use &hs only COMMANDS inputed directly into events must be prefixed with &.

              Attached is a new help file, maybe this will help you some...

              Replace your existing "lrpSpeak-Doc.htm" with the one contained in this zipped file.

                    At first glance, every thing looks correct as far as to your scripting Lance....

                    I am bothered by the threading issue...need to do some research as to what could cause that.

                    Your script also looks OK, must be interaction with some other thread or something????????????

                    I have to get back to on this...

                        Lance, try this version 2.2.0.8 (attached).

                        I added an option back in for Default or Previous selection in config, I also added some protection for re-entrance into a the RestoreAB8SS_State()... function thread before previous thread had completed, to hopefully prevent the threading issue. The problem with scripting is non-existant here, so I am not sure whats going on there, but lets try this version for now...

                          OK, the problem with your script file is the extension...

                            Hello Larry I got the scripts to work now that I'm getting them saved correctly.

                            My HSP page looks the same but you have a period or a comma (can't tell) at the end of yours and I don't. Would that be it?

                            [Loc All] Incoming call from,
                            I need a little hand holding on the zip file. What do I do when its opened? Do I copy some or all of it to certain files?

                              The main file, "lrpSpeak.dll" needs to be copied to HS root directory. And HS needs to be shut down first or it will not let you replace the dll file. The other files you already have so don't worry about them.

                              The comma you see at the end of my [Loc All] Incoming call from,

                              The comma just causes the speech to pause just a second before continuing, which adds to the clarity at least for me, but really does not have any effect on lrpSpeak.

                                Ok I got it in that folder. I want to note a couple of things that may or may not be important.

                                It still shows up as .7 when I run the mouse over the dll file and in the HS log. Not sure if it should say .8?

                                I don't see any options for default or previous under config.

                                Here's what I tried:

                                Start an event that was playing music and then ran my door bell event. Here's the errors I'm getting. It shut all the speakers down after the wav. file played instead of going back to the previous state which would have been the music.
