NOTE: The basic version of Mono that ships with the Zee appears to be old, it needs to be upgraded to a later version for this plugin to work (it will give a security error when you try and connect to the Hive service) - I am unable to advise what version is best or whether it is suitable to upgrade owing to various discussions about appropriate versions. Errors after installation
Haven't been paying much attention to HS lately since it's been working fairly well, but noticed the Hive plugin.
I installed the latest version listed and all my devices appear to have been created as far as I can tell, and they have values from when the plugin was first installed. However they don't appear to be updating since the installation and when I'm getting errors in the log file now, this is after a restart of HS:

I've not had word from anyone else (and as per previous posts I don't use the device myself so won't notice errors) that it is broken - I notice your location, are you in the US? I'm not sure that it ever got tested outside of the UK and not even sure what products are available to know whether or not the plugin supported them. Right I can see a couple of posts on that link from Jan 2019 that they might've changed some things but no real solution - I would kindle expected a few more posts really if it was a huge change. I already use v6 of the API.

HI Adam. I have just restarted the plugin and it has started working again. All devices are found. I did try this the other day and it did not work. Must have been something on the hive side of things. Thanks for having a look. RegardsComment

OK well that is good to know thanks for letting me know - if it happens again could you see if there are any additional errors in the HS log? It may only be a fault that comes up every few days/weeks and could be access token related (as it would be odd to have a connection open that long to BG servers, most people would probably only have the app open for a few minutes). If you then let me know how many days it took for the error to come up then I can run mine for that long and see if I can see the same thing.Originally posted by ben pownall View PostComment
