New installation

I have just reinstalled my HS and mcs temp and getting some errors in the log.
I probobly made some input errors in the config or missing something.
I'am only using one temp sensors with temp08

2006-10-03 22:16:31 - Database Item - Saving Device Switch0
2006-10-03 22:16:31 - Error - DeviceClass error for Switch0, cannot have a null or empty house code. Returning to A
2006-10-03 22:16:31 - Error - DeviceClass error for Switch0, cannot have a null or empty device code. Returning to 1

One more problem,

In the window for temp08 i see the following values

22:39:42 | Voltage #01[0800000075226B26]=00.49V 05.00V
22:39:44 | Temp #01[0800000075226B26]=76.45F

In the status window

24,5 Temperature 0800000075226B26, Temperature (this is ok)
00,49 Voltage2 , Voltage (this is ok i think but what is it)
500 Voltage 0800000075226B26A , Viritual (this is not i guess 5,00 V ?)

On the first one this is a reported problem that was fixed with a version that is posted on the message board. The Temp08 returns two voltages for the DS2438. I think it can be configured to return humidity, pressure or voltage. I suspect you would want one of the the other two rather than voltage. If you do want voltage then I would need to look deeper.

If the latest V4 of mcsTemperature does not do what you want then the migration path is V5 which is now just being evalauted by a few.
