    The HS log may have some indication. You will need to adjust the date range in the filter to see entries prior to the restart. To do that, click on the triangle next to 'Filter' at the top left, then enter a start date a day or two ago and click on 'Apply'. At the bottom of the page, use the '-->' button to page back to before your restart.

    What is it that makes turning on the monitor difficult when HS is not running?
