RFXTRX433E Ant Extension

Is is possible to add an antenna extension to the 433 trx model? I want to mount the unit in an alarm panel box but want to mount the antenna on the outside. I was thinking about getting one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2717323...lpid=82&chn=ps

I don't want to limit the functionality of the unit. Do you have any suggestions, or does rfxcom sell something I can use?

Yes, you can. I use similar antenna and it made loads of difference for me (better reception) because of the more flexible antenna placement.
