Communicating thermostat for radiant applications (PWM control)?

    <o></o>
I currently use the Trane Z-wave thermostats, and they do a fine job in opening and closing the zone valves when heat is called for, but they are not very good at controlling the temperature, they always overshoot (as the hot water in the floor continue to heat for a long time after the heat set point has been met), and when temperature falls they are too slow to react. Trane actually specifically state that the Z-wave thermostat does not support radiant floor heating, but at the time they came out they seemed to be the only option for remote control. PWM technology anticipates these issues and provide more stable temperature by providing heat in pulses of variable length depending on temperature delta.<o></o>
