    Kwikset 916 Locks

My Kwikset locks seem to be super delayed in getting an updated status.l when unlocking/locking both via z-wave and manually. They also are sometimes in the unknown state.

Is there anything I can do to optimize these locks behavior?

Is it an incompatibility with my ZMEUUZB Z-Wave adapter?

Since no one replied yet, I put this in as a temporary fix and opened a support case. Is there anything wrong with this approach?

How far is the lock from your Z-Wave interface? Does it work better if you move the interface closer? This appears to be a range issue.

All of them are within at least 40 feet, some less than that. All of them have at least 2 if not 3 beaming capable z-wave plus devices between the controller and the lock as well.

It also looks some other folks have had to do something similar in HomeAssistant.

I'm not sure if this behavior can be baked into HomeSeer without needing to do the eventing I did above?

Also I used Z-Seer+ to test, the battery operated devices of course had a delay, but nothing unusual.

Try moving your Z-Wave interface closer and I think your issue will be solved but if your double poll is working this go with that. Bottom line is the message is not reaching HS3 on the first try. I've also seen dramatic improvement in communication if you add a short USB cable to the receiver and get it away from the hardware that it is plugged into.

Not trying to spend your money, but we have a z-net and do not have communication issues with our Kwikset locks.

The Z-Net is one of the best Z-Wave interfaces available for multiple reasons, one of which is it can be located in a central location to improve communication.

How can I confirm it is or isn't a communications problem? I can try moving a lock closer and give it a shot, but ultimately shouldn't it not matter as long as it's close to another device that supports beaming?

Is it possible that one of the nodes in the neighbor list is powered off?
                    You're not running Z-Health, correct?

All the Neighbors are either Leviton Z-Wave Plus Switches or GE Z-Wave Plus Duplex Outlets, so they're all powered on.

I'm not running Z-Health, but I have done a full optimize after I put all of the devices in.
