I just changed this setting on a Windows 10 machine running HS3

Start -> Control Panel -> Time and Language -> Formats -> Additional date, time & regional settings -> Region -> Change data, time, or number formats -> Additional settings -> Numbers -> Decimal Symbol changed from , to .


I need this for the temperature values to become 19.5 instead of 19,5 since i cannot send 19,5 to an MQTT broker to get it in grafana succesfully

But now it seems it broke the JowiHue database in some sort of way

Hi again,

On the other thread, I explain that after changing back to DOT decimal notation, Jowihue issues disappeard (as expected) but my problem into Easy Trigger also vanished (as NOT expected).

So, everything is fine, without having understood anything, which is quite confusing in a such a rational context.

Anyway, wait and see.

I do not know to much about the MQTT broker technics, but I guess there will be settings to tell the MQTT broker to convert the EU settings to other settings? Localisation is not something new?
