Actually it would seem that you approved it yesterday. I can see the HSBuddy app page in Hockeyapp but now it says that the "developer needs to add your device."

Hi,

First of all great App, thanks for it!
I have installed it and do have a connection, but I can not control any device.
Do see a error in the log.
Is there a setting i missed?

Hav you or anybody received any response from the author? I sent AM and emails in the last few weeks several time about activating a new iPad but have not received any reply nor was it activated. I used the app on a prior iPad and currently on my iPhone and like it. Thanks.

After replacing my iOS device, I need to get the new one registered so it will install HSbuddy. I’ve added the new device Id to my HockeyApp profile and requested for it to be added but it’s still showing as pending. What can I do to get this up and running on my phone again?

Hey folks,

I finally had a chance to come back to the board. I had to go offline for a while because of work, but things are coming back to normal. I've added a new build with 4 new devices that were pending authorization in HockeyApp - a notification should have gone out to the users who were waiting.

If anyone is still experiencing issues with the app (I have seen comments about cameras and control of devices being broken), could you re-report these through the Feedback section in the app? This will help me create a new baseline, since it's been so long since I've worked on it.

Quick Question on the Push notifications. Will the notifications be delivered to the clients if they are not connected to the same network? Will they be delivered via the MyHomeSeer connection?

Hi Dave,

The push notifications are sent from your HS3 server, through either Apple or Google's push notification services, just like the notifications you get for most other apps in your phone. There is no need for the phone to be on the same network as your HS3 server, and it does not rely on MyHomeSeer either.

When will a new version be deployed ? - I think my profile should be among validated profiles since i switched mobile.

Whats in general the process for making it a public AppStore App ? - I guess it would ease your work significantly

Yes, I switched phones as well and haven't been able to continue using HSBuddy on that new device.
