HA14c Status not updating instantly or when polled

Hi,

I have just installed 8 ha14c's and purchased a Wayne-Dalton usb stick with the trial version of home seer.

Last night i moved the pirmary controller to be the WD stick and tested all the lights with Z-Tool.

This worked!

Then I installed HomeSeer and it found all my devices and i can control them.

However, when I switched them locally it did not update the homeseer status. I gave it plenty of time as i took an hour bath then came back and checked and it showed no change at all.

Any ideas?

Just checked one of the HA14C's at my place and got the same results you did - checked a couple of the leviton switches they reported correctly

so it seems that not all switches are 2 way?

how about the HA20c? think im gonna start buying 1 a month.....
so I will be able to tell you on those if no one knows...

Says botht he HA14c and the HA20c's support instant status so i dunno, maybe just a bug?

The log seems fine. i can see that Z-health also ran without issues.

Its a bit frustrating because HStouch doesnt update because homeseer is not updating.

has your HA14c ever worked with Instant status?

I heard that some of the HA14c's have a firmware bug that means it sends an off signal when the switch is pressed.

None of my ha14c's seem to have instant status which is very annoying.

Worked with RJH on this last night - it looks like something happened with the firmware in between releases of the switches - the switches at this point Do not support Instant Status - I have changed the polling on the Intermatic switches from 0 to 300 - HS now polls these devices.

Well that kinda sucks. I purchased these switches just because of that.

Oh well i will write to Intermatic and see what they can do, probably not much.
