Fast/Beefy Hardware and Light On Electric

so I mentioned to @Pete a while back about Lenovo Tiny computers.

I mentioned that they are small, i3/i5 models and can do 16gb ram/ssd.

Well I just wanted to let others know as we kinda hijacked threads here and there and wanted to put it in one place for people.

I know some people use laptops and some use atom cpu and some use Raspberry pies to run HS...

so check them out. you can find them on ebay pretty cheap and off lease...

Pete is using the M73's and I have personal experience with M91p, M92p, M93p, M900p and now the new M910p.

my M92p off of ebay was $150. I received it and I was given the wrong one. He actually sent me a bare bones with no memory or drive as it was supposed to have a 500gb sata drive and 4gb ram. He sent me a 250gb ssd and 16gb ram!!!!! so I'm happy...

it runs 11w ... yes 11 watts... something very nice to run 24/7... I'm gonna plug it back into my kilowatt to double check I got that right...

do you have a type of hardware you like? post it up here...

I have also been benchmarking SATA / SSD and now M.2. started doing this in June 2016 to show my company why we needed to start putting SSD in our laboratory computers...
now we do... but thought id share with yall..

11 watts is pretty sweet. My entire wiring closet is right at 12 watts and that includes several Raspberry Pis, switch, routers, USB hubs, etc.
