    Dahua IPC-HDBW1300E & HSTouch - HELP!

Anyone know how to get the Dahua cameras to work in HSTouch for live video? Im using the HS3Pro appliance.

I can access the camera with this URL in a web browser, and through my old HAI system and its app, but just get a blank screen in HSTouch.

    http://10.10.30.44/axis-cgi/mjpg/vid...xxx&pwd=xxxxxx

I also have a Dahua NVR4204 that is addressable by URL, but I'm going directly to the Cameras instead.

I'd like to have live feeds in HSTouch, and or possibly snapshots based on events with a plugin.

Any Suggestions? (Homeseer support isn't really helping)

I'm not sure it can support MJPG by default can it? I have to admit my experiments with HSTouch and cameras has been met with similar frustration but I was able to get a single JPG from a feed easily but MJPG failed with a big red X and brought HSTouch to a halt. You have the options to refresh the JPG however by setting the IsVideo property to true and an appropriate refresh interval.

I believe that it supports RTSP if your DVR/camera supports it.

Thanks - yea just found out i can probably do this through HS Touch Designer, I was trying to set them up under the HS Touch Server - Manual Camera Setup - which i was instructed to do by HS support. I haven't started trying to use the Designer yet, as I am still trying to get everything setup in my HS3 and all my events mapped over from my old HAI system before I start down the UI design path.

We have Dahua cameras and put the snapshot url in HSTouch Server:

        http://192.168.0.202/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi then credentials

        Works with HST3

Thanks Michael. i've tested in a browser and can view the snapshot after entering a password. Can you share the credentials variable you use? I've tried:

          http://10.10.30.43/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?u=xxxx&p=xxxxxx
          http://10.10.30.43/cgi-bin/snapshot....oginpas=xxxxxx

And none seem to work, i still get prompted for a Username and password by the browser window. the first variable listed works fine for my mjpg feed but not for this.

Is this snapshot url for you working in HS4 and showing you a live stream?

                http://loginname:logipass@192.168.0....n/snapshot.cgi for snapshot.

I use Blue Iris and grab url from UI3 interface for HSTouch. Works great and have live streams of all my camera on my iPad HSTouch clients.

Found this Wiki site for Dahau cameras.
