Looks simple enough but the iPad needs powered mounting brackets so they charge the batteries as well. -
Agreed. I think these are intended as short-term holders rather than semi-permanent installation. But, a powered bracket would require wiring to it, so if local power is needed, it may be just as easy to install a recessed outlet that will be hidden by the iPad.Mike____________________________________________________________ __________________

I have been searching for a powered wall mounted solution for the iPad for a while now and the best/cheapest solution I can find is following...

I like it because you can remove the ipad by simply sliding it out of the mount. Granted the price is not great but it's a ton better than the iport solution here.
