    Mitsubishi mini Splits go wifi

    Hi all.

I have been fighting with Mitsubishi mini splits and homeseer for about a year now using the MKH1 redlink system and the Honeywell plugin by shill. recently it stopped working for me and I went looking for another solution and came across a relatively new control system called Kumo Cloud which uses a wifi adapter and a phone app to control the HVAC system. Link's Here ...

I also found this thread over at the smarthings forum about some creative soul monitoring the traffic off his phone and determining its all json commands. Link here ...

Curious if we have someone out there who would be interested in developing someting for Homeseer. I would be willing to supply a developer with the wifi kit for there effort in getting something going. (dev must have the mitsubishi Mr. Slim system). PM me if interested.

    Regards Ken

You should be able to issue those json commands using a script.

    Cheers

Any suggestions on how to capture the commands from the phone (iOS)?

It looks like someone else has done that already, so should be able to just those. If you want to grab them yourself, lots of articles on the web on how to do that: https://www.google.ca/webhp?sourceid...0web%20traffic

Thank you Al for your input. I was able to use some of those tools and see data, the issue is I have no idea what to do with it as I am not a programmer of any sort.

Everyone else, The offer still stands if any developer would be interested in putting together some sort of plugin/script. I'll send you a wifi kit to work with.
