looks like I've run across a little quirk. I have 1 speaker instance and 3 HS touch clients acting as speakers.
So, the problem is that if you change the speaker instances, notification no longer works.
For example, set up an event to fire some speech, by default it sends to all instances, and the notification pops up on the kodi instances.
Now, change the speaker client list to anything - it can be just one, a few, or all. Notifications no longer show up on kodi. To get them to appear, you can't define any clients to speak out of.
