Anyone have a remote connection problem using myhs.homeseer on apple?

I have several androids and a iphone that work fine on wifi. On remote server only the andriods work. I get an error if i try to setup remote server on that iphone. It used to work but stopped. Tried to even setup a new systems in imperihome and wont go. Have rebooted homeseer and the Imperihome server that one iphone still dont work.

Some more testing but not sure if it points to anything.

When I open a browser on the working androids and I enter
      https://connected2.homeseer.com/issapi

      I get a blank screen.

When I do the same on the iphone I get an "Unauthorized" on the site.

the blank screen is the expected result

use https://connected2.homeseer.com/issapi/system to test from a browser, it should return the system name

from a browser on your iphone, try

        https://connected2.homeseer.com/issa...USER&pass=PASS
where USER and PASS are your credentials for myhs

when did it stop working? Did you change anything: IH version? iOS update? etc...

could you post screenshots of how the plugin is configured and what you enter in IH to setup the system.

It's my fathers phone as I stay as far as I can from Apple products. He doesnt change homeseer so i would say there is not change on that side. As far as inperihome or ios update he has no idea what broke it or what he did.

I been testing more and i know its nothing in homeseer and i still need to test another ios device but im gonna bet its only this one.

So the https://connected2.homeseer.com/issapi/system works from my phones but gets an unauthorized from his phone.

          https://connected2.homeseer.com/issa...USER&pass=PASS

Gets the same response on both phones:
          {"id":"HS3 HAVASU","apiversion":1}

Also i created a 2nd version of the plugin and i setup that one with my own server and port forwarding in the router like it was before myhs was allowed and that works fine on his phone. Ita only myhs that has the issue.

I attached a pic with setup but i think im good there since other devices work fine.

I have deleted and reinstalled Imperihome on the iphone but my mistake might have been running a restore without testing a new setup first. Ill try that now.

I just deleted app from phone, rebooted phone, reinstalled app, tried to add new iss system from scratch and it added my hs3 system since he was on my local network. So i deleted that system turned off wifi on his phone and tried to reinstall and same api error.

            Its only a myhs issue.

This kind of thing can be hard to troubleshoot as I don't have direct access to neither what is sent by the IH app nor what is received by the myhs service.

I would need to test with the only iOS device I have (an old iPad). Would you agree to send me your myhs credentials by email (spud.webb.4@gmail.com) so that I can try to connect to your system?

It turns out it was a problem on the myhs server configuration, Rich fixed it, and I tested it successfully on my iPad.
Please test again and let me know. Thanks

Thanks for the update. I had created a 2nd instance of the plugin and used port forwarding. I started from scratch on my fathers phone as far as the devices go. I have 40 pages of custom layout that stays but all devices need to be deleted and reinstalled when i go from one server to another.

                      Same here after hs3 update

                      hello!
unfortunately i have the same problem after the last homeseer update :-(

from the iphone i can connect, but on the ipad i get an invalid api response.

i also exported the settings vom the imperihome iphone app to the ipad app - but it is not working

                      do you have any suggests?
                      thank you

                      Regards,
                      Chris

I have yet to still test this after the last update.
