    Dimmable units being reset to zero

    Been puzzling over this one all morning. Just started happening today.

    My OMNI ALC dimmable light units are resetting themselves to zero after being set to a value between 1 and 99. Setting them to 0 or 100 works fine, anything 1-99 immediately resets to zero.

    Here is an example from the OMNI log.

    2/17/2018 11:41:01 AM [2] [SetIOMulti: CC.Ref=[587] CC.ControlValue=[51]]
    2/17/2018 11:41:01 AM [2] [Unit_Dim: unitId=38 dimVal=51]
    2/17/2018 11:41:02 AM [2] [UNSOLICITED: ExtendedStatus]
    2/17/2018 11:41:02 AM [2] [---->Unit]
    2/17/2018 11:41:02 AM [2] [-->UNIT: desc=[] number=[38] name=[BKFAST CANS]]
    2/17/2018 11:41:02 AM [2] [-->Unsolicited: Unit=[38] status=[0]/[OFF] type=[2]]
    2/17/2018 11:41:02 AM [2] [--> Unit 38 changed status. Updating Homeseer...]

    As far as my limited intellect goes, the two lines timestamped 11:41:01 are me setting the unit to a value of 51. The rest seem to be resetting to zero (off).

    What's happening here? This just started, co-incidentally it may be, with my upgrade to 3.0.2.5

    Interesting... I'll see if I can replicate with my upb devices. I'll let you know what I find out.

      In the OMNI config page, all my ALC units show as X10 protocol. Is that correct?

        Here my testing UPB device only allows for on or off and no dimming (event though I set the dim level). Went to the same device via the UPB plugin and can turn it on or off or dim it.

        Here is the log entry for dimming one unit. I am watching it while I do this.

        Dimming is not working.

        2/17/2018 11:47:29 AM [2] [Unit_Dim: unitId=51 dimVal=46]
        2/17/2018 11:47:28 AM [2] [SetIOMulti: CC.Ref=[1701] CC.ControlValue=[46]]

        Here is just an ON (which works)

        Here is an ON then an OFF (which works)

          I've rolled back to 3.0.2.4, and dimmables work again.

          Any events triggered within the OP2 set dimmables with no problem, and their status is reported correctly in the plugin. Setting dimmables from the physical switch works, as it does from within Haiku or Snaplink or PCAccess. It's only when I try to set a value from 1-99 from within the plugin or via an event in HS3.

            Yeah, looks like I broke dimming in this version. Will release a fix asap.
