    Missing Door Lock

under Door Locks only 1 of my 2 locks is showing. Anything I can check to see why?

otherwise, plugin is config'd and communicating with my Android IH app

I too have a similar issue, I just installed ImperiHome PI on my HS3 PRO and ImperiHome App on my IOS and successfully have them communicating however when I perform a cache refresh all three of my kwikset locks that I can see and operate with HS3 PRO but the plugin does not see any of them the same for motion sensors I would have thought when the app scans for applicable devices that all devices would be available and the user can then deselect/select the item they do not want to see i.e. virtual devices, events.

for door locks to be picked up automatically by the plugin, the Hs device representing it needs to have 2 controls with the "Control Use" field set to "Door Lock" and "Door Unlock".

Motion sensors can t be recognized automatically, you need to add them from the config page in the security tab.

read the user guide for more info

I've done as you suggested but do still do not see the locks I've attached the particulars associated with one of the locks.

Spud, based on my last post any further recommendations to get Imperihome to recognize Door Locks? (AKA Bump) to get

I suspect you say Motion Sensors cant' be auto recognized - they show as binary switches, yes? (HS3 does not normalize, like Vera does - very lazy of HST)

BUT, my thought is you could make an upgrade to this plugin to enable auto recognition of most devices...

Allow users to set key word "Categories" that identify what type of sensor/device.

I rename all my devices properly (as they should be if HS3 did it correctly) - so all device "Name" fields are proper... Motion, Light, Battery, Luminance, Temperature, Siren, etc

This would be a huge benefit enabling much more flexibility and far less manual configuration for those like myself that have over 100 devices

@Ltek, I'm assuming your referring to each device "Device Type (String)" Name under the Advance tab? if so for instance a Lock has multiple devices associated which I believe are children and the root device (aka parent) is what needs to be updated? in my case the Name is "Z-Wave Entry Control Root Device" so what/where does one find the proper nomenclature for the various devices? Yes I am.

On other systems, like Vera - they normalize the names so they make sense in the real world.

Homeseer keeps the native names: 'Z-Wave Binary Switch', 'Z-Wave On/Off', etc. Not helpful at all since often manufacturers call the same type of device by different names

Vera is nice enough (as is most HA systems I've used) to standardize/normalize the names that appear in the UI: "Motion Sensor" and "Switch" and "Dimmer" - so no matter what device vendor it is, you always know what that Child device REALLY is.

I'd had to rename most child devices. so they make sense and can be easily used in HS3... especially since HS3 is the one of the least efficient UIs to do things in... "scrolling and clicking hell" (no tree view, or search, or drag-n-drop)
