    Politicians typically do not have a clue about software in general nor security.

    They often just spout whatever it is that their constituites want to hear acting mostly like they know what they are talking about.

    Mostly over the last few years I have not seen any want of any security stuff relating to the public or private sector because it involves resources and spend of money.
