where xxxx is the server port you setup for Homeseer.

When the line in the log

was executed it prompted you for an install location. It appears the intall location is not Homeseer 2 folder. When Homeseer is not running use control panel add/remove programs to remove mcsSprinklers and then run the file
C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\updates2\mcsSprinklersB2.7.0.291\setup_hs.exe again and assure that the install path is C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2

not able to config

ok i re installed the program . i now have "mcssprinklers" and also "mcssprinklers B" but under the mcssprinklers tab once enabled there is no cinfig button . i tried the config under the mcssprinklers B tab but nothing happened . and further ideas?

You can access it from the menu where HS shows its log. You can also access it with the URL I posted earlier.

Does that .asp file exist in the HTML path? Do you get the same script error message as before? Do you have a menu entry for mcsSprinkers on the HS main form?

yes the .asp is in the path, by the path are you talking about in the link in pu in the address bar .i dont have any MCS icons or tabs anywhere execept for the interfaces page .

Are you trying to install it from a remote computer? If you are on the local computer you should have the HS menu above the HS log and it will contain the link to mcsSprinklers. Look at the bottom of post #5 at http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=122406 to see the menu item I'm referencing.

yes i am on the local computer that HS is installed on . the .asp file is the and its file size is 487kb. as far as seeing any reference to MCS like i said be fore there is only a tab on the interface page. i dont see any items specific to MCS on top menu in the HS log . am i going to have to install a standalone version? if so i have already tried that and it will not let me run on trial , the trial part is grayed out . i have tried downloading the software 4 time from 2 seperate locations ( home and work )

If you have installed the standalone on the same computer and not in the Homeseer 2 folder then you likely have a problem with the registry. The trial is grayed out because you likely have deleted the \Config\mcsSprinklers_License.ini so the record of when the trial started has been lost and it will not let you trail with an unknown expiration. I posted http://mcsSprinklers.com/ResetmcsSprinklersTrial.exe that will reset you trial period for the standalone.

If you get an error from Homeseer that says that the mcsSprinklers.asp file is not present when accessed from a browser then there is something wrong with the paths where that file is located if you say it does exist.

If you installed the standalone then it is best to uninstall it from Control Panel / Add Remove Programs and then reinstall the plugin from the updater with care to put it in the Program Files\Homeseer 2 folder. Assure that no \config\mcsSprinkers_License.ini is present in the Homeser 2\Config folder if you want to user the standard HST method of licensing/trialing.
