    Must have Concord Events

Now that the Trouble alarms are showing/logging correctly, you should make sure you have at a minimum the following event triggers contained within a/an event(s). (I OR the matching non-fire and fire alarms together)

    Non-Fire Trouble - Tamper
    Fire Trouble - Tamper

    Non-Fire Trouble - Low Battery
    Fire Trouble - Low Battery

You can also add the matching "Restoral" trigger as well to log/alarm/notify when the trouble clears.

You can be as fancy or simple as you like. I just log, SMS to the cell and speak. Since these are not critical alarms, I don't turn on the Aux Z-wave alarms, I save that for the Smoke alarms.

Once I implemented the events, I had 2 low battery and 1 tamper alarm soon after, so I clearly missed them previously.

well I have been to busy to track down my smoke alarm that was listed as troubled. Time went and it went away.. not sure why... trying to get life caught up some to get back to this. I was all gung ho on getting my setup up and havent been back... however..

Concord plugin is my main plugin. If I disable every plugin this one I need to keep running..

email for armed and disarmed - when kids get home...

but I am seeing some false positives.. like we all went to bed at 11pm... set alarm.. got email...

1:22am - alarm disabled... but it wasnt... maybe something I dont have right in my event..

anyway I still have not had time to track down the C5 on in my house... I am documenting my entire installation with x10 codes - room - devices... so I can then wipe it ALL when I get ALL rooms done and start over. Maybe something in my database....

I am going into a room and verifying EVERY X10/Zwave/Oregon item in the room.... and verifying I have it logged in my xls....

    more to come
