Oh wow, i guess the euro market version does a lot more!

Too bad they dont make one that does both freqs. I wanted something that would do us x10 and oregon sci stuff. Doesnt look like they make such a monster yet.

      Thanks for the input.

I currently have an RFXLAN with LAN i/face and HS2.

When I upgrade to HS3 I would like to control my Somfy RTS blinds - is there an upgrade to the RFXLAN available?

If not, can I run an RFXLAN & an RFXtrx433E at the same time? The range is going to be an issue if I can only use the USB device.

        Regards
        Scott

The RFXLAN cannot be updated but can be used together with the RFXtrx433E.
If the Homeseer system is not on the right place for RF you can connect the RFXtrx to a RaspberryPI and install socat or ser2com. With this you can connect the RFXtrx over LAN.

            Cheers Bert,
Is there going to be an upgrade to RFXLAN or is it obsolete for new features already?

RFXLAN has never had updates for the receiver/transmitter firmware because it does not have flash memory that could be updated by the user.
The RFXLAN Ethernet controller has user up-gradable firmware to flash TCP/IP or xPL firmware.
