Denon amp and Global Cache not talking the same language?

I'm trying to capture a command from my Denon stereo amp (that cannot be controlled via Ethernet). Say I try to capture the power command. This is an example on what I get after a capture:

    Code:
    sendir,1:1,1,38109,3,1,
    10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,1831,

... and after I hit the trim button:
    Code:
    sendir,1:1,1,38109,3,1,
    10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,70,10,30,10,30,10,3810

But the amp is not reacting at all. I've tried to adjust the repeat count but still nothing's happening.

I had similar luck with my Denon amp. I don't know why the iLearn cannot learn the Denon IR. I now have a Pioneer receiver However, I was able to get it working by finding the Pronto codes available on the Internet and convert those to Global Cache using iConvert (from Global Cache).

Thanks for the tip about iConvert!

But I'm having problems finding codes that are useable. I found some codes at remotecentral but even though I now can easily translate them to Global Cache format, they're not working with my GC equipment...

What is the model number of your receiver?

It's an "older" model (but still rather good) named PMA-1055R. It just has one button to toggle the power, and I believe that older AVR codes should work (I could use my fathers remote for his AVR-1000 receiver on my amp).
