    Problem with new keypadlinc switch

I just received a new Keypadlinc today from Smarthome and tried to program the switch and received a message:

I noticed that when I programmed the switch (It is an 8 button switch) the switch programmed as a 6 button, so I changed it to 8 button and here is my Device Link Table:

    Device Link Table

Link #1 Button A/Load has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #2 Button B has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #3 Button C has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #4 Button D has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #5 Button E has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #6 Button F has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #7 Button G has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #8 Button H has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #10 Button A/Load is controlled by HomeSeer using PLM Database Link #19 (Button Control Group) - On Level 100%, Ramp Rate .1 Sec.
Link #9 Button A/Load is controlled by HomeSeer using PLM Database Link #254 HomeSeer 'All Devices Group' - On Level 100%, Ramp Rate .1 Sec.
Link #11 Button B is controlled by HomeSeer using PLM Database Link #20 (Button Control Group) - Command: On
Link #12 Button C is controlled by HomeSeer using PLM Database Link #21 (Button Control Group) - Command: On

Link #15 Button F is controlled by HomeSeer using PLM Database Link #24 (Button Control Group) - Command: On

As you can see, I am missing Button G and H. I tried to reread the links or program the links, but no good.

yah, been having problems with 8btn kpls

    please do the following

    shutdown hs
edit the insteon.ini and add the following to the device section for the new kpl

    GroupLinkAddress 7=25
    GroupLinkAddress 8=26

    then restart hs

and use the program for homeseer btn to fix the missing links

please let me know if this resolves the problem

All links are back, but later this evening the 2 links were missing again. I reinstalled them and will check tomorrow to see if all is well.

      Thanks,
      Steve
