    Yup; here its layered behind the firewall (s). I will open up the firewall to see if that changes. I didn't have any issues with the V.33 update (which doesn't make sense to me).

    Not working here. I manually just ran the updatehs.sh script and it fails.

    Code:
    root@HomeTrollerZEE:/usr/local/HomeSeer# cd Updates3
    root@HomeTrollerZEE:/usr/local/HomeSeer/Updates3# wget http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
    --2013-10-15 06:49:06--  http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_.tar.gz
    Resolving homeseer.com (homeseer.com)... 67.217.100.101
    Connecting to homeseer.com (homeseer.com)|67.217.100.101|:80... connected.
    HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
    2013-10-15 06:49:06 ERROR 404: Not Found.

    root@HomeTrollerZEE:/usr/local/HomeSeer/Updates3#
    I had been typing what the script was doing manually and changed that just now to the exact update and it worked.

    Code:
    homeseer@HomeTrollerZEE /usr/local/HomeSeer/Updates3 $ sudo wget http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_34.tar.gz
    --2013-10-15 06:58:00--  http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_34.tar.gz
    Resolving homeseer.com (homeseer.com)... 67.217.100.101
    Connecting to homeseer.com (homeseer.com)|67.217.100.101|:80... connected.
    HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
    Length: 12810240 (12M) [application/x-gzip]
    Saving to: `hslinux_zee_3_0_0_34.tar.gz'
    I have never touched the update script and it reads:

    Code:
    sudo rm hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
    sudo wget http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
    sudo tar xvf hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
    Which is wrong and it must be a leftover from last update.

    Nope; doesn't work still. I am thinking that the last update prior to this one messed with some scripts and other stuff as I cannot update.

    Found another issue looking over files. The settings INI still has the wrong IP address.

    gLogDaysToKeep=7
    gEthDHCP=False
    gIPAddress=192.168.2.115
    instance_interfaces=
    gLocationTimeZone=America/Chicago
    Changed it and rebooted to try again.

    Nope. Thinking now the first update to V.33 messed with something. I cannot update to V.34 at this time even though I manually downloaded the update file.

    I have the original SD (image) and I just tried it. It was only updated to V.33 and put away. It too does not update anymore.

      Pete,

      Did you click the check button? The update should be there.

      If you want to update manually, first shut down HS from the tools->system menu, then execute the updatehs.sh script with the version you want like:

      ./updatehs.sh 34

        I did. Forgot though...I was using IE.

        Changed to using Firefox and hit the check now button. No change.

        Shutdown HS.

        SSH'd to box.

        Changed updatehs.sh script back to:

        root@HomeTrollerZEE:/usr/local/HomeSeer# cat updatehs.sh
        sudo rm hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
        sudo wget http://homeseer.com/updates3/hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
        sudo tar xvf hslinux_zee_3_0_0_$1.tar.gz
        Updated using "./updatehs.sh 34" fine this time.

        Rebooted HS3 Zee.

        Checked and all looks well.

        Current version is: HS3 Zee Edition 3.0.0.34 No updates available.
        Thanks Rich.

        Apologies as I do prefer to see the update happening.....(old geezer in me)....
