iTunes update to 12.4.1.6 BLIT no longer recognizes iTunes as installed.

[posted same on ticket I just created on Bob's help desk but am copying here in case others might have this issue]

iTunes updated itself today to 12.4.1.6 (sorry don't know what the previous version number was but it was updated regularly). Worked fine prior to the update.

On startup, HS3 gives the following error: 6/11/2016 5:09:19 PM ~!~Error~!~Initializing plug-in(1): BLiTunes Instance::iTunes is NOT installed and therefore the plug-in cannot run!!Startup Complete, 1 errors detected, check the log for more information.

And on the "Manage Interfaces" page it says: 6/11/2016 5:09:19 PM ~!~Error~!~Initializing plug-in(1): BLiTunes Instance::iTunes is NOT installed and therefore the plug-in cannot run!!Startup Complete, 1 errors detected, check the log for more information.

HS3 log Error message: Initializing plug-in(1): BLiTunes Instance::iTunes is NOT installed and therefore the plug-in cannot run!!

I could not find a BLiTunes specific log.

I uninstalled and re-installed iTunes. When HS3 starts it does not start iTunes automatically like before. If its already running and you restart HS3 it doesn't work either.

The only thing I did not try was uninstalling and reinstalling the plug-in.
