    Aeotec ZW096 - maximum load in watts?

    How large a load can I plug into the ZW096...it's 15 amps does that mean 1650 watts?

    16 amp is around 3600 watt

            Specs should be listed on the manual. The 1,800 watts is typically for a pure resistive load, like a light bulb (or a hair dryer). For non-resistive loads, like motors, most of these types of relays are limited to about 1/2 hp.

            That said, I have a wire-in appliance module of a different brand (Linear) that is limited to 1/2 hp, and have no problems operating it with a 1 hp misting system pump.

            In general, though, you shouldn't have a problem. 15 amps is a LOT of power.
