    Oil Tank levels

    Has anyone tried this?
    https://www.connectedconsumerfuel.com/

I just installed one, seems pretty decent. Am stumped on how to get data into HS. Tried Jon00's datascrapper but couldn't get it to pass the credentials.

Curious if anyone else has tried this and managed to get data into HS.

How does it actually work. the description just says it measures the level of fuel in your tank. Is it a float, radar, magic beans?

Len is correct, it uses ultrasonic magic beams ...
All in all its pretty cool, even sends you and email or txt when tank hits 1/4.

The only thing that would make this perfect is to control the notification and to figure out how to scrape the data for Homeseer.

I'm interested in a tank monitor as well. Has anyone figured out an opensource or non-cloud connected solution?
I found elertus but it is cloud-based, requiring an account. I like that is uses an approved resistive sensor, radar-based is fine too but I have yet to see anyone reverse engineer the becket device.

I've seen the arduino project with the custom range sensor, how hard could it be to use an arduino to pipe output to http or some other method?

Found this EDIT (Becket Rocket Receiver teardown): https://hackaday.io/project/1548-roc...eiver-teardown

Here's the Rollie that looks to be the OEM for oter products
